...if so, when?
Of all the times I've waited at the lineside just to watch the trains go by on the GE Mainline, I've never seen a freight based train of sorts. I know that there is an EWS facility of sorts at Norwich, and a Gas/Petrol(?) depot up at N.Walsham. Do these trains never go down the GEML, and always head down along the Thetford-way line? _________________ My New Website | My Fotopic Site |

| North Walsham Tanks (6A33) goes to Parkeston Quay at Harwich. I don't really know about the soap stone and redland trains but I guess they go via Thetford. There is a place at Needham Market which is a freight depot. |

Thanks for the input. The reason I ask is that of all the hours I have spent on the lineside between Norwich and Diss, I have never seen any freight and only a couple of loco movements and the steam charters have been the most interesting thing to go down apart from the usual services to London Liv.St.
