A few pictures of the Layout.
The other chap who was helping out had brought along his HO gauge continental stock. I bought two loco's - a Bachmann Deltic and 4MT, and picked up my new Airfix Royal Scot from the post Office on the way down. My 4MT was the only loco that worked on the layout, the Deltic and Scot both came off on certain points on the layout where the track was a bid dodgey. I never realised how pants my 4MT really is too though! - It couldn't get a rake of 6 coaches up a gradient easily, and was just slipping. It had to have assistance to get up. Eventually, it was religated to freight duty and chugged round with some wagons.
Light was poor inside, so pictures are slightly blurred

I had the layout all to myself today, not a worm in sight this morning! I traveled along the line and got a cab ride in a Class 101 DMU, I was the only person on the train at the time. I'll post pics in the other forum. There were no Continental Bits in sight, and due to the tremendous weather, not many people were out, although the Model Railway became a shelter for people to get out of the rain so it was quite busy at times. I ran a variety of stuff, but the Double Header one the crowd over and got the most donations.
Today, I brought along my Hornby Class 101 DMU (what a coincidence!), which hasn't been run for a good two years and my Hornby Black 5.
Anyway, here are the pics with descriptions:
