I got my Volunteer form through the post today for the NNR, aka the Poppy Line. I'm hoping to do about a weeks work during the summer.

For anyone who's never been, they've got quite a few locos's - a J94, B12 to name just a few of the Gems. Most recently, in the last couple of months though, they have just finished restoring the Battle of Britain Class Engine '92 Squadron'. I'm hoping this'll be on show and running when I do my work, I'd love to see it running!

I think that the 92 Squadron has just steamed again, as has the B12

I just got a letter today to say that I've been accepted. I'll be helping out the museum curator to begin with and then who knows what else I'll be doing!

Just a heads up...

I shall be helping out today, down at Holt manning the 300 square foot model railway. I'm all ready and packed up to go and will be getting the train from Diss to Sheringham then taking the line up to Holt, not something you do normally!

I've got some of my stock with me, and shall post some pictures later.

Owen
