What is it about vandalising Preserved Railways by thugs? In the last year, there has been vandalism to the coaches used in the Harry Potter films while stored at Canforth, a small amount of fencing and the coaches for the Bramley Line have been hit a few times, but the latest reported attack happened in Swansea on a Preserved Line and according to their Spokesperson, they may be giving up because of the cost to make good the repairs. Their previous attack was estimated at £40,000 and now with the latest, they are looking at going out of business and so Very Sad.
If you are out and about on, or near any Preserved Line and see any form of vandalism being done, Please call the Police as soon as possible. _________________ Please help us to 'Raise a Wagon Load of Cash' and so we can get the lease, then start running. See the main website www.bramleyline.org.uk for further details. |

It's sad that some people have no brains and decide to ruin something that many people enjoy. Preserved lines do not need this problem, it is hard enough to keep running as it is.
