Looks like a new appeal has been raised to return this unique loco back to steam.

This is currently in a sorry state on the NNR - as far as I'm aware, it will be moved away at some point as the Shed simply does not have the capacity to restore it. The trust is headed by Julian Birley, one of the NNR's board members.
I put a tarp over it a while back, and it was in a reasonable solid condition and is still with the original tender. I'm not sure where the cab is atm though as it isn't on it. _________________ My New Website | My Fotopic Site |

Ironically, one of the things I did today was to cover the J21!
'Scuse the quality, it was off my phone!

Another way to raise funds for this project is to register with http://charities.everyclick.com/ and nominate the specific charity you wish money to go to, then instead of using google, use this for searching on the Internet and raise cash.
