An event no southern enthusiast will want to miss. The steam locomotives set to attend include:
Unrebuilt West Country No. 34007 "Wadebridge"
Rebuilt Merchant Navy No. 35005 "Canadian Pacific" - both from MHR.
Rebuilt West Country No. 34028 "Eddystone"
Unrebuilt Battle of Britain No. 34070 "Manston" - both from Swanage
Ex-LSWR M7 No. 30053 - from Swanage
Ex-LSWR Beattie Well tank No. 30587 - part of the NRM and will be visting from it's base at the Bodmin & Wenford Railway.
Ex-LSWR B4 No. 96 "Normandy" - visiting from the Bluebell Railway.
SR No. 850 Lord Nelson - visiting from the MHR
SR King Arthur Class No. 30777 Sir Lamiel - visiting from the GCR
BR Standard 7MT No. 70013 "Oliver Cromwell" - arriving on a railtour.
(All 3 locos form part of the NRM collection)
Also 35028 "Clan Line" will be hauling a railtour to the event, and rumours that 34067 "Tangmere" may do too.
The more modern side of the Southern region will be represented by:
Classes 07, 20, 31, 33/0, 33/3, 37, 45, 47, 50 (two), 55, 73/0, 73/1, 73119
SWT 3-Cig, 4-Vep EMU, 4-Cig, 5-Wes.
And requests have been made to SWT, DBS, Colas, First GBRf and DRS to provide a selection of their fleet such as Class 47's, 60's, 66's, 67's & 73's.

With 73096's failure during the MHR gala last weekend, it looks like 34007 "Wadebridge" may not attend the event. This is due to the MHR needing two steam locos for their timetable during this event. If 34007 had gone, along with 850 "Lord Nelson" which is also currently based at the line, it would have only left 60019 "Bittern".
