Thank you Mr.M&GN, I will endeavour to go near Ely to see it as I worked behind the Beauty back in the 1990's and so, many Happy Memories. I avoid the station due to too many people and getting in the way of my lens.

A4 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley as seen today at Prickwillow, between Ely and Thetford. Just as it approached, so the driver - Bless him - gave us a treat with the whistle.

I was going to go to Prickwillow and sit in the signalbox to watch it but thing's ended up a bit busy at home so we stayed local.

Advance Warning. 6100 Royal Scot is booked to do the same run as SNG did on Sunday 22nd February. If the timings are the same, it should work out fine for me returning to where I got some good photo's including the one posted above.  Very Happy
