When will kids learn?It was announced on the news tonight, that a 13-year-old boy was badly burnt just 2 minutes out of Norwich station today after taking wire from beside the tracks, laying it across the lines for the trains to cut it. Somehow, he was burnt by the OHL's. Instead of using an Air-Ambulance to move him, he was placed on a train and taken into Norwich before being transferred to a Specialist Burns Unit at Broomfield Hospital, near Chelmsford.
All the BTP were reported to have said was: "Children should stay away from railway tracks." To me, that is the most obvious thing to do anyway, but I wonder WHO will get the blame for this?
