Norwich City Station After the Baekecker Blitz

I went to the Mucklebourgh Collection Not too long ago (The Tank Place up on the N. Norfolk Coast) and I saw this picture taken at the old Norwich City after the Baedecker Blitz:

What a fantastic piece of history. To my knowledge there are not that many photos around of the local railways during the war so for you to share this item you discovered is great. I have seen a couple of photos of Lowestoft railway sheds after a direct bomb hit in Malcolm White's book "The Lowestoft Train". I believe a couple of people working in the sheds were killed.

Which was Norwich City station? Was this the one where Sainsbury's is or where Toys r Us is? I know of 3 Norwich main stations: Norwich Thorpe (the main one today), Norwich Victoria and Norwich City. There was also Trowse which is still in its derelict condition (Between Lakenham Junction where the Cambridge line joins the London line; and Trowse Swing Bridge).

Norwich Victoria was where the Sainsbury's supermarket is in Norwich, on the inner Ring Road opposite the Norwich Union Buildings and the Bus Station. A big square 60's/70's building now stands there.

This picture is from an old OS Map:

And compare it to today:

You can make out where the line goes off to the south and joins the main line.

I think the Norwich City Station used to be where Halfords in Norwich is:

You can visibly see where the trees line the old railway track and it seems to fissle out when it gets to Halfords (Building north of the Roundabout), but it could well have been where Toys R Us used to be as the line comes in at the wrong angle.
