NNR and One PicsToday, a few pictures from my travels on the North Norfolk Railway.
Two locomotives were on service today, a rather Dull BR Grey Class 47 - 47 367 in need of a bit of TLC and a much more interesting and well kept N7 Tank.
47 367:
N-7
The B-12 was also in a Siding at Weybourne:
On the Modern Front, I caught 90 001 and 47 818 at Norwich:

47818 sure gets around a bit, I saw it at Shenfield on Friday.

Deja Vu! Just saw your thread with these pics on the NRM forum. Isn't the N7 on long term lease from the East Anglian Railway Museum at Chappel. Nice pics though!

These are also posted up on RMweb too.
I don't know, if it was out being used, then that might explain things. BTW, what is your username on NRM?

The same as it is on here. I haven't posted much as i have been away at university so haven't had much layout activity to go on, but now i am back and finished, i hope to crack on shortly!

I was very privileged this morning to be given an in-cab ride an a 101 DMU, partly because I was the only passenger and also because I was volunteering up at Holt. Either way, it was good fun. You never get to see how steep the line is in the train normally, but the line is pretty hilly compared to some.
I also got the chance to look round the sheds which was nice, so I've got a few (dark) pictures of stuff they are working on.

And the B12, still in the same place it was last week. It was tipping it down when I took this - I got drenched!

Two more today,
DVT Headed Train, bound for Norwich:
Class 90, off to London. I presume this 90 hasn't been repainted into ONE colours yet as there is still an EWS logo on the side.
Straying out of East Anglia, I took this picture of a 158 (?) heading over Grisdale Viaduct in the Dales whilst on Holiday. Check out the hills!
I also went on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway in Cumbria. They had a Saddle Tank (It was too small to be a J94) on duty for my visit.

Nice pics, but I await those of 'Black Prince' on here, seeing as I can't get to see it.

That sure is Mr. Shepherds loco. It was delivered on a low loader and he was also there to meet volunteers, according to Eastern Daily Press.

I've been working on the NNR again for the last three days. Dave Shepherd's lovely loco, the 9F 92203 'Black Prince' arrived last Friday, and has been wooing crowds since. It is a beautiful loco, and should look fantastic in a double header with the WD 2-10-0 come the Steam Gala. The Lakeside and Haverthwaite's 56xx 5643 also arrived on Friday, and despite the size appeared more nimble than the large 9F. Pictures of the 9F and 56xx, plus others from around the sheds. There are about 30 pics, please wait for them to load as it is worth it!
Here are the 9F Pictures for Starters, I'll do the rest later:

And what I've been working on for the last few weeks - this BR Mk.I Corridor. I've done a lot of painting - mostly the Buffers/Beams, the inside of the Coach Connections and have also been fitting the 1000v system back onto the coach which the owner wants fitting - the large orange boxes are part of this.

Thank You Owen for those magnificent photo's. I sincerely hope now that the Bramley Line can eventually offer something similar in time.
