Liverpool Street ClosureLondon Liverpool Street will be closed for 10 days at the end of 2007 for major works. The extension of the East London Line, removing a bridge and Bishopgates Tunnel and replacement of the Overhead Lines will be involved. In this case all trains will terminate at Stratford. A little later on the OHLE work will continue to Southend Victoria.

Good job Kings Lynn drivers no longer do the Liverpool Street route, because years ago, one driver got diverted to Stratford upon leaving Tottenham Hale and stopped when he saw he was to be diverted via Stratford as he hadn't signed that road and it just so happened, there was a newspaper reporter on the same train and it made his paper the next day.
