Foot (Four, Six, Ten) & Cess

These terms describe the positions on the track.

Four Foot: The area between the rails.
Six Foot: The area between 2 running lines.
Ten Foot: The area between 2 pairs of running lines (i.e the centre of four tracks).
Cess: The area between the railway boundary and the nearest running rail.

It should be noted that the above are names and not distances as the actual distance could be less or greater than the said term above.
