Final Nail in Coffin for Southwold Light RailwayThe final appeal for planning permission has failed. Such a shame as I feel it would of added character and charm to the wonderful town. Just a shame the town is full of weekenders from the big city who seem to run Suffolk Costal with a rightwing NIMBY attitude to anything good. They have runined many a local community.

I remember seeing your letter Bramleyman.
On a positive note the organisation are not going to give up and are going to put forward a shorter line in order to get something off the ground.
