DRS37 at King's Lynn

A couple of weeks ago I spotted a blue DRS 37 in King's Lynn station one lunchtime. It had gone before I saw the number. It was on its own.

What was that visit about?

Hi P D and welcome to the Forum. The DRS class 37 you saw, was 1 of 2 and from what I recall, the numbers were 302 & 307. I saw photo's of them on another forum, but can't remember which one. I trust this is of some help to you.

I saw a DRS 37 at Norwich today, I think the number was something like 37087 Idea

The drivers need to keep their route knowledge upto date and need refreshing every 6 months. I would imagine the 37's were there on route learning for the autumn water jetting trains or Serco test trains.

DRS have a depot at Stowmarket but the driver lives in Norwich so DRS let him use it as a taxi home!
