90027I have heard that 90027 is at Crown Point to replace 90036. I don't know if it is just for the duration of exam or permanent.

Hi Neb.
Just saw your post and thought, "Hmm, i've seen that somewhere".
Went onto T52Scene to find a post, and almost quoted it, then realised it was you who posted it!

90036 has left the region for good. It has gone to work the Scotrail Sleepers together with former GEML loco 90019 (Ex Penny Black). 90027 is spare but requires further testing before working passenger services.

In 14 road shed at Crown Point. You can see it as you pass on the Lowestoft line (if the doors are open!!!). Currently undergoing tests.

Now in passenger service. Had a little drive of 90027 the other night. Very clean inside so I guess it has been in storage a while.

I thought that it was in good nick when I saw it from outside - and it does not have the EWS yellow sticker on it!

Nothing at depot but rumour on anglia gen states that 90027 is going away tomorrow (7th July) and 90036 is to return by 1800 on the same day.

90027 has gone. 90036 is back with 90003 (repaint). I had to use 90036 to fetch the tyre turning trip which had been routed into the station due to a points failure on Wensum curve. Therefore the coaches were the wrong way round.
