Spent the day out Derham way chasing steam on the Mid-Norfolk. Nice sunshine in the morning, but once it went in enthusiasm for photos and the line dropped somewhat. Still, nice to see a GER loco on GER metals for the first time in 60 odd years.

Nice shots but i was under the impression the N7 has been on the mainline in the 90's, such as running on the Sudbury branch and attending open days at Colchester, arn't they all GER locations?  

Plus her home base at Chappel is GER too.  Wink

First GER loco to run on the mid-norfolk line in 50/60 something years Idea

Nice photo's and regardless of when it last run here Guys. I saw this loco at Cambridge some years ago, but can't recall exactly when.

I think she ran during for Steam on the Met for a number of years back in the 90s. It's a shame none of that will probably ever happen again.
