| Currently the Thunderbird loco. The 47 is owned by Cotswold rail and still exhibits the old FM rail livery although the nameplates have been removed. Very smokey and only running on 5 traction motors. |

| 47810 was only running on 5 legs but has been repaired, repainted and renanmed "Captain Sensible". Plenty of 47 spare parts around at the moment. |

| 47703 was put on ebay and reached £30k but it was pulled. HNRC bought her but she will now be cut up. Nice to have a piccie of me and her on the Yarmouth drags last year! It is my desktop wallpaper (Thanks Kings Lynn 47576 for the link). |

What price is the scrap value then? Surely £30k is better than having it hauled away and scrapped? _________________ Please help us to 'Raise a Wagon Load of Cash' and so we can get the lease, then start running. See the main website www.bramleyline.org.uk for further details. |

Scrap is really valuable these days thanks to the booming Chinese economy. The cabs will be cut off 47703 is given to preservation as spares. The engine ironically has been sold to an Irish scrap merchant who will use it in a grappling machine!
