Quite recently, I saw a 'Local' Model Railway Exhibition advertised by way of roadsigns and so texted a radio presenter I know, who has an interest in them and asked if he planned to go along. In good faith, it was read out 'On Air' during his programme and when attending the same exhibition just yesterday, one Member of the club who arranged it, had the audacity to moan for me mentioning it and then it being read out on air, which I have no control over.

I always thought it pays to advertise these events, but it seems not with his dammed attitude over asking a friend if they were planning to go. Following his stupid remarks over it, I will NOT be attending anymore they organise, nor will I give them even a mention in any conversation seeing as he wants it that way.

The signs placed along the road advertising it, were removed by the Local Council and reportedly wanted £450 to return them. They were only pieces of wood with A4 size signs attached. Then just because I gave who I believe to be their Chairman a telephone number of the person to contact re this matter, I was practically told to mind my own business, because I 'Wouldn't want them interfering with my Club affairs.' Blimey, people say some men are like kids when it comes to trains, but this is beyond a joke.

Common sense says it pays to advertise, but this guy seems to think different and that everybody will automatically KNOW where and when it is on.
