According to UKsteam.info, 60163 "Tornado" will run a private charter train between Harwich - London Liverpool Street on Friday 4th September.

Great news thank you Kieran. I will notify two mates that way who will be able to see it. sadly, I am in the wrong area to see it pass through.

I know it is currently on the West Somerset Railway and despite getting two Free tickets a year to travel along the line as a Shareholder, I haven't been there for about ten years.

It is a nice line although too much western stuff for my liking, at least Braunton & the 7F make a nice change! I've also had the honour?  Laughing  of polishing, removing ash from the firebox and scraping rust from inside of the tender of GWR 2-8-0 No. 3850 back in 2006, as seen here:

Those overalls were new too!

I understand  the reason for Tornado doing this tour is for part of an event to commemorate the evacuation of hundreds of Jewish children shortly before WW2. I think the tour starts at Prague and is steam hauled throughout trying to recreate the original route as much as possible.
